Recitals: |
|
All of my students are encouraged to perform in an
annual recital sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the
American Harp Society. In addition, other performance
opportunities in a casual group setting are often
arranged. It is my goal that each student feel
comfortable and confident when performing rather than
intimidated. To this end, I make sure to provide a
relaxed an encouraging environment for students at all
levels. |

Teaching Experience: |
|
I believe that learning a musical instrument should be
fun, enriching, and joyful, and that students should
always come away from each lesson feeling confident and
inspired to improve. To that end, I strive to create a
positive and relaxed studio environment. My students
have ranged in age from 6-76, and I have taught
beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. While I do
emphasize consistent practicing, goal-setting, and solid
technique, I also believe it is equally important to
foster a love for all kinds of music and to allow
students to play what they want to play. |
